About

In 2017, when Poole Pottery closed after 125 years at Poole Quay, Alan White, Master Potter for 50 years, taught me to throw clay on the wheel.

After a couple of years of developing my hand throwing skills, I undertook intensive courses in Experimental Glazing and Mould Making for Ceramics at
Central St Martin's Ceramic Department, University of the Arts London.

Inspired by the rich local pottery heritage, the enchanting coastline of the County of Dorset and the mesmerising and infinite properties of clay and glazes, this lifelong fascination with clay and ceramics has become my reality.
I make and experiment from my home studio in Poole, Dorset.
